Joseph (Jo-D) Hogan was born in Louisiana. His parents moved to Mexico when he was a child, and he grew up primarily in Mexico. In his teen years due to circumstances, they spent time in Guatemala, Bolivia, and Paraguay. He was home-schooled and after graduating went to Bible school for a year. He was married to Cindi Hansen in 1992 and they have been serving the Lord in Mexico since that time.
Cindi was raised in Des Moines and became a believer as a child. Her parents moved them to Texas when she was almost a teenager and there, she was exposed to the mission field and at 17 made a trip to see the Hogans. It was then that she realized her calling. A few years later she married Jo-D.
They have two married children, Corban who is married to Jessica, and Kodi who is married to Josiah Carter. They have two grandchildren as well from Corban and Jessica.
